TecQuipment join MIM to Drive Recruitment

TecQuipment

One of Made in Group’s latest members, TecQuipment, has joined the manufacturing membership to advertise job roles through Made Futures and gain industry insight on recruitment.

Established more than 65 years ago in Nottingham, TecQuipment designs, manufactures and supplies   high quality practical teaching equipment for the global engineering education market. Supplying to higher education providers all over the world, TecQuipment retains the reputation of market leader in their industry due to unmatched quality of products.

Made in Group, including Made in the Midlands and Made in Yorkshire, is a membership community championing British manufacturing. The group's aim is to connect business leaders whilst offering them a platform to learn and share best practice - tackling industry’s current and ongoing challenges.

In 2021 Made launched the Made Futures initiative to address the recruitment challenges industry continues to deal with. This saw the development of the Made Futures jobs board - offering business leaders the opportunity to share job vacancies to thousands of jobseekers who are specifically looking for roles in manufacturing and engineering.

With a decline in young people looking to take up roles in manufacturing, TecQuipment decided to join MIM to drive their own recruitment whilst learning more from other members on how they are tackling the same issues. Jean-Jacques, Global Marketing Manager at TecQuipment said:

“We are proud to be an independent and employee-owned British Manufacturer offering high quality education equipment and we believe that being part of the Made in Group is an important step to promote this when attracting candidates. One of the main goals of being part of the group includes advertising job vacancies and networking with professionals who are also dealing with recruitment challenges. It would also be great to meet new suppliers to help shorten our lead times.”

TecQuipment are looking forward to liaising with a variety of businesses at networking events and through the Made platform, specifically universities. The firm is particularly interested in meeting those who supply similar products internationally in order to learn and share best practice.
