Powdertech exhibiting at the UK’s leading battery shows of 2026
Powdertech Surface Science will return to two of the UK’s leading battery industry exhibitions in 2026 - Battery Tech Expo and Battery Cells & Systems Expo!
Since last year, when they exhibited at the Battery Tech Expo, they have been busy ramping up their dielectric coating projects and have scaled dielectric coating over to 1,000 parts weekly with consistent, production-ready results.
Partnered with two major tier one suppliers for dielectric consultancy projects, supporting them to resolve dielectric coating challenges and to meet demanding EV battery requirements.
Exhibiting at Battery Tech Expo 2026, 23rd April at Silverstone.
Powdertech will be present at Stand A17 on 23rd April at The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, where the team will engage with industry professionals on dielectric coating solutions for EV battery components.
Since last year’s event, Powdertech has significantly expanded its dielectric coating operations, bringing in more complex projects and strengthening its in-house quality and testing processes.
Visit Powdertech stand A17 to discuss how they can support your dielectric coating requirements, including:
- Consultancy support to ensure consistent, high-performance results.
- Reliable dielectric strength performance as per spec requirements.
- Controlled coating thickness and edge coverage.
Technical seminar at Battery Cells & Systems Expo, 8th & 9th July at NEC, Birmingham.
At this year’s seminar at BCSE, Powdertech’s Technical Manager, Dr. Nick Welton, will deliver a seminar titled:
‘Dielectric powder coating from busbars to battery enclosures – evolving an established technology.’
📅 Day 1, Wednesday, 8th July
🕛 12:00 – 12:25
The seminar session will focus on how dielectric coating is being successfully adapted for aluminium battery enclosures in EV applications.
Dr. Nick will cover:
- Key risk factors that impact dielectric coating performance and timelines.
- Practical strategies to mitigate coating failures.
- Lessons learned from delivering successful projects for major OEMs.
👉 Visit Powdertech’s Stand 740 on 8th & 9th July at NEC, Birmingham, to continue the conversation and explore your dielectric coating project requirements in detail.
Why connect with Powdertech?
Dielectric coating for EV battery assemblies requires technical expertise and experience, where small variations can lead to significant performance challenges.
The team focuses on identifying root causes early and delivering robust, repeatable solutions that meet specification requirements to avoid encountering coating failures at later stages of production.
This is possible through years of proven experience across commercial EV projects and deep technical expertise in dielectric coating systems.
Not attending the battery shows? You can still connect with Powdertech to explore how they can help move your project forward.
