Penta Pattern and Model Join Biggest Manufacturing Network, Made in the Midlands
We are pleased to announce that we have joined the Made in the Midlands manufacturing network! We’re proud to now be a part of the Made in the Midlands family, that includes over 400 likeminded, local manufacturers all working to promote UK manufacturing and supplier links.
ABOUT MADE IN THE MIDLANDS
Made in the Midlands, part of the Made in Group, exists to champion and promote UK Manufacturing. The community, along with Made in Yorkshire and Made in London, originated in 2009 as a simple pledge for Managing Directors of manufacturing firms to open a channel of communication within local firms to source and supply locally where possible, upskill and reskill workforces, and promote good news from manufacturing businesses.
The group is now the largest private manufacturing network in the region, representing more than £120bn of UK manufacturing, which consists of 500 firms with a turnover of £2m+ a year. 85% of the group are owner-managed SMEs focused on collaboration and networking.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR US
When considering whether to join the group, there are 5 packages to choose from. We have opted for the bronze package which gives us access to things like:

- Social network of 31,000 followers
- Industry leading tech platform bringing in 900,000 unique visitors

As we continue to strive for growth and new opportunities, we feel that this is the perfect time for us to join the Made in the Midlands community as it creates the ideal environment for UK manufacturers to thrive. Overall, we believe that using the platform will offer a wide range of benefits to us including increasing our exposure in the industry and encouraging us, and other industry members, to work together and create lifelong partnerships.
