More than 90 members have already signed up for our upcoming National Online Industry Meetup – Defence Special, making it set to be our biggest National Industry Meetup of the year so far.

Taking place online on Wednesday, 15th July,this special session will bring together manufacturers, industry leaders and defence stakeholders from across the Made in Group community to explore opportunities within the UK defence sector.

For British manufacturers, defence represents a major area of opportunity. From precision engineering, fabrication and advanced materials to electronics, digital systems, logistics and innovation-led problem solving, SMEs have a vital role to play in strengthening national resilience and supporting future defence capability.

This National Industry Meetup has been designed to help members better understand how to access defence opportunities, connect with the right stakeholders and explore where their capabilities may fit within defence-related supply chains.

Attendees will hear from expert speakers covering key areas such as engagement with the Ministry of Defence, defence exports, regional defence and security clusters, and innovation pathways into the sector.
