Cleveland Steel & Tubes Ltd

Cleveland Steel & Tubes is proud to join Made in Yorkshire as part of its continued commitment to supporting UK manufacturing, collaboration, and sustainable industry growth.

With more than 50 years of steel industry expertise, Cleveland Steel & Tubes has grown into one of Europe’s leading steel tube stockholders, operating from its North Yorkshire headquarters in Thirsk and supporting customers across the UK and internationally.

Part of the Bianco Group, the business supplies steel solutions into sectors including infrastructure, construction, rail, renewable energy, marine, piling, oil & gas, and civil engineering. Alongside extensive stockholding capabilities, CST also provides a range of in-house processing services including cutting, welding, fabrication, blasting, painting, testing, and logistics support.

Sustainability remains a major focus for the business, particularly through the reuse and repurposing of surplus steel tube. By extending the lifecycle of existing materials, CST helps customers reduce both project costs and embodied carbon without compromising on quality or performance.

On joining Made in Yorkshire, Managing Director Roy Fishwick said:

“UK manufacturing faces more and more serious threats, the latest being quotas and tariffs on steel. We feel there is an advantage in having representation across multiple industries to represent our voice. We also see real possibilities for shared learning and training.”

Over the years, Cleveland Steel & Tubes has supplied materials into a number of major projects including the London Eye, Wimbledon Court No.1 roof redevelopment, and the 2012 Olympic Stadium, demonstrating the scale and capability of the business across national and international markets.

We are also keen to connect with manufacturers and service providers that consume steel products, particularly steel tubulars, alongside businesses facing similar processing and handling challenges where collaboration and shared learning can benefit the wider sector.

As part of the Made in Group network, Cleveland Steel & Tubes is looking forward to building relationships with manufacturers, contractors, engineering firms, and infrastructure specialists across Yorkshire and beyond while contributing to conversations around sustainability, supply chain resilience, and the future of UK manufacturing.
