Agemaspark Shortlisted for Innovation at Medilink Healthcare Business Awards 2026

Agemaspark Ltd

Doncaster-based precision engineering specialist Agemaspark has been shortlisted for the Innovation category at the highly regarded Medilink North of England Healthcare Business Awards 2026.

The awards, which celebrate excellence across the life sciences and healthcare sector, will take place on Thursday 30th April at the Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield, bringing together leading organisations, innovators and industry stakeholders from across the region.

Agemaspark has been recognised for its pioneering work in advanced manufacturing solutions for the healthcare sector, particularly its development of innovative metal additive tooling technologies. The company’s approach is helping medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers improve efficiency, reduce waste and enhance product performance through cutting-edge engineering.

At the heart of the innovation is the use of advanced metal additive manufacturing combined with proprietary coatings and embedded temperature control systems. This enables the production of highly efficient mould tools with conformal cooling channels, significantly improving heat distribution, reducing cycle times and lowering energy consumption compared to traditional methods .

The technology is already delivering tangible benefits to healthcare manufacturers, including improved part consistency, reduced scrap rates and more sustainable production processes. It also allows existing tooling to be upgraded, offering a cost-effective route for companies looking to adopt advanced manufacturing techniques.

Paul Stockhill, Managing Director at Agemaspark, said:
