APPRIS: Continuing to facilitate apprenticeship excellence

A long-standing supporter of Made in Yorkshire, Appris are West Yorkshire's leading provider of engineering and manufacturing apprenticeships. This Bradford-based company have worked with over 150 engineering & manufacturing employers and 40+ schools in the West Yorkshire region, and have the expertise to work with a wide variety of companies. ANGLOCO: Huge achievement celebrated in Batley

March this year marked a massive achievement for Angloco, having seen the last vehicle being delivered as part of the Defence Fire and Rescue Project (DFRP). This occasion signified the biggest fire appliance manufacturing contract ever awarded to Angloco (83 fire appliances) alongside being the largest through-life vehicle and equipment maintenance contract (a 12-year contract) ever awarded to the company. SIDDALL & HILTON: Supporting the community of Huddersfield

Earlier in 2022, as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting charities serving the local community, welded steel mesh manufacturer Siddall & Hilton Products provided a 130m perimeter fence and pedestrian gate for children’s hospice Forget Me Not in Huddersfield as well as making a £2,000 donation to the charity to cover the cost of installing the new fencing. AMB Ltd: Hardfacing market leader ramping up their digital footprint

Based in Sheffield, Albert Marsh and Bestelite Co. Ltd (AMB Co. Ltd) are the leading supplier of hardfaced composite components to a very diverse range of industries. Earlier this year, AMB Ltd made a pledge to put more attention into the marketing side of their business. In particular they focused on their digital footprint, and have launched a brand new company website and also increased engagement on our socials regular updates - often shining light on the importance of the people who work for the company, through the Meet the Team section.

 

CROMPTON CONTROLS: A new era in Wakefield

Wakefield-based Crompton Controls recently began a new era at the company, with Dave Chappell being announced as the Managing Director. After five successful years as Managing Director, Dean Sweeney decided to step down from the big seat into a support role for the business and Dave Chappell has picked up the gauntlet. Founded in 1880, Crompton Controls is a specialist in motor control, industrial & BMS control panel solutions.
